Our School Partnerships

The windmill project has already partnered with amazing educators and students in districts like Kettering Fairmont Schools and Xenia Schools. These collaborations have provided students with real-world STEM opportunities, allowing them to engage in hands-on learning experiences that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Through these partnerships, students have had the chance to work on innovative projects, develop critical thinking skills, and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

We're excited to continued growing our network and expanding our reach to more schools and districts. By fostering these connections, we aim to inspire the next generation of STEM leaders and provide them with the tools and resources they need to succeed in their future careers. Our goal is to create a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students can thrive and explore their passions in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

As we look to the future, we are committed to building strong relationships with educators, industry professionals, and community organizations to enhance the educational experience for students. Together we can make a lasting impact and empower students to achieve their full potential.

About Us

  • This website is brought to you by Tomi Babatunde-Adeoti and Samantha Morgan, two DTC interns who made it their mission in Summer 2025 to create a scalable and accessible playbook for the Windmill Project streamlining the way it’s taught, shared, and built across classrooms and communities.
  • 💻 Tomi is a Computer Science major at the University of Dayton with a passion for hands-on learning and technical problem-solving. With a knack for breaking down complex systems into simple, teachable components, Tomi led the digital development and infrastructure side of the playbook.
  • 🍎 Samantha recently graduated with a degree in Elementary Education at Wright State University and now works at the Dayton Regional STEM Elementary School. Her classroom experience and deep understanding of how young minds learn brought clarity and purpose to the educational flow of this project ensuring it’s not just smart, but truly teachable.
  • 🤝 Together, they teamed up with four incredibly talented high school interns, whose energy, creativity, and thoughtful contributions played a vital role in shaping the website’s design, organization, and functionality. Their insights helped keep the content engaging and relevant for younger learners, and their commitment made this playbook truly collaborative.
  • 🛠️ This project is the result of shared effort, educational passion, and a belief that hands-on STEM education should be within reach for every curious mind.
